Notes
Alex B had the meeting at the group garden and it was intended to discuss about a garden project of cassava and soybeans that they plans to do.The chairperson of the group Mutooto Saul led the members in an opening prayer. He found them helping to clear the garden area by removing branches and stumps of trees to the sides of the garden The ploughing was done on that day before Alex B arrived to their village . Mr Mutoto told the meeting they had just received the rains that softened the soil for the ox plough. The members were responsible for clearing the bush and witnessed the ploughing. The members also actively participated in guiding the oxen to plough to ensure every part of the garden was well cleared and ready for planting . The members also wanted to be present in order to share their ideas, help to collect water for the people guiding the as plough to drink. Also to share how they could make the garden ready. Alex B thanked the members for effort to the point of getting the land for the group project. He told them that their garden is going to be a demonstration project in the community and the village. The members were encouraged to work together and share ideas as plan how the project is going to look like. Alex B and the group agreed that in the next meeting they will discuss how cassava and soybeans will be planted .The type of cassava stems and soybeans seeds will be determine during that meeting.
