Introduction Manuela and Lorna went to Kivule village to teach the community members about the dangers of early pregnancy, this lesson is aimed at educating community members to gain courage and confidence to open up and talk to their children about dangers of early pregnancy and sex so that they can change their behavior. It has been noted that some parents fear to talk to their children that is why children tends to become sexually active while still young and that why it is very important to teach this lesson in the community. Overview On reaching the village, Manuela and Lorna did not find any body at the meeting place, the two decided to seat and wait for community members, after short time they came and the lessons began, Manuela and Lorna were teaching a long side teaching about dangers of early pregnancy, during that lesson, Kibo staff would asked members questions and they would respond, for instance they were asking them , have ever talked to your children about sex, how many people do , how many people have children who are above 12 years, for sure they were open and said they don’t talk to their children and sometimes they fear taking to them. In Kivule, where Kibo staff meet the community for lessons, there is a private primary school, as Manuela and Lorna were teaching some pupils were passing by and Manuela called them to come and also learn because from the start theses pupils showed interest and that is why she called them. They came and attended the class, in front of their parents Manuela asked them have you been talked about early pregnancy and sex they said no that is why it is so good to teach pupils in school about Life Skills. Challenges The turn up was poor, Finally, teaching community members about early pregnancy is good because it enables the community members to talk to their children early enough about sex education to so that community can be out of early pregnancy, school dropouts, HIV transmission among others.
