Martin and Enock went to Mpumiro to check on the sanitation facilities like latrine constructions. They walked around the village with the Chairman LC1, LC2 and the sanitation committee member. Generally the community members are working so hard on their sanitation facilities like digging new pit latrines, rubbish pits and shower areas. The group were encouraging them about the standards and maintenance and make their village and homes clean. The Chairman LC1, LC 2 and the sanitation committee members are so happy for kibo’s program in their village. And they are appreciating kibo for the work going in their community, and they promised Martin and Enock that they are willing to encourage the community members to work on their sanitation facilities. The Chairman LC 2 he is putting much emphasis to the village leaders, to work on their sanitation facilities. So that they can be any example for the community members. Because the community members are busy working so hard on their sanitation facilities like Tifu Kalange he is digging a new pit latrine it’s now 27ft deep, and he is still continuing to make it 30ft deep, Sinani kiirya’s shower area it’s under construction, Aminsi Kiirya he is digging a new pit latrine it’s now 8ft deep, Isabirye Musa dug a new rubbish pit 4 by 4 and their using it which is so good and Ahamed Kalange promised to construct a new kitchen with bricks and cement in one week. Martin, Enock and the group walked in 45homes.
