Notes
David and Steven were in the village to check on the sanitation Progress as well as the borehole status. When David and Steven reached the village they were joined by the chairman of the borehole mis Faridah Salumuni and the borehole caretaker mr Latifu . The Kibo staff , faridah and Latifu lead the Kibo staff to the borehole. They did so because they wanted to know the sanitation status of the borehole. As they were at the borehole the Kibo staff were so much encouraged seeing that the village had maintained the good sanitation of the borehole. The borehole caretaker told David and Steven that they had 120000 shillings as their borehole account balance. Therefore the village was advised by the Kibo staff to always having borehole monthly meetings as way of improving and reviving on their borehole account. When the Kibo staff left the borehole, they decided to move home to home while encouraging community members to improve on the home with the facilities which were not meeting with the set standards. As the group was moving in the different homes the following was noted .The group saw quite a-good numbly of stoves which in use. The community members members told the Kibo staff that the stoves had done a good work for them as away of saving much firewood. Therefore David and Steven advised the majority of the homes who had the stove in their homes to teach the few who did not have them in there homes. However mr Latifu promised that he will be teaching the rest of the members who never had a chance of having stoves in their promises. They group continued moving with their home to home movements and out of the many homes they visited they noted that quite a good numbly of homes had maintained the required sanitation standards. In general according to the sanitation status of the entire village it was good . Except for the few homes whose facilities required to be improved in order for them meeting the set standards.
