- Notes
- Harriet had planned to meet the participants of kiteigalwa to follow up on the smearing of the stoves and the home facilities as well as the progress of building stoves.
Unfortunately as soon as she reached in the village it started raining so heavily and this affected the participants to come for the meeting since their meeting are always under a mango tree which was un favorable because the participants would be rained on.
Harriet took shelter in the car under the mango tree thinking that it would stop soon and she proceeds with the meeting. She waited up to three o’clock but the rain kept on increasing.
Harriet walked through the rain and went to kamida’s home who is the Chairperson of the Healthy and Safe kitchen program and she told her that from the previous meeting at least 5 people have now smeared their homes and most them with dry stoves have started cooking on them.
Harriet also told the Chairperson of the Healthy and Safe kitchen program to continue encouraging and monitoring to ensure that participants smear their facilities. Because of the rain the meeting was postponed to Friday 3rd may 2019.
