- When Manuela reached the village, she found community members gathered under a mongo tree and some of them were just moved up and down, Manuela asked the members what is the problem? One of the community member told her that, those people are arranging to go to the nearby village for burial, then she cautioned the LC1 why he did not tell her yet she called him and said no problem, Manuela was so annoyed she said if she knew that, she would have planned to go to another village, since did not tell her the truth simply because he did not sleep in that village Manuela forgave her.
Some members managed to come to the meeting point like 18, but their attention was not in class and it became so hard for Manuela to teach them because they were not concentrating on what she was teaching, while teaching people were sad and miserable. She decided to stop teaching and Manuela told them to call her when they are ready to learn, members suggested that Manuela to come on Friday they will be in big numbers and they will learn without any disruption.
After that, one of the woman by the name Naigaga came and asked Manuela that what can she do to prevent her husband from drinking Alcohol, she told Manuela that she going through a lot , her husband doesn’t provide for them at home what ever money he gets he use it for drinking she feels that she is tired. The pupils are at home no scholastic materials or them , Manuela advised her to inform some of this man elders so that they can advise him if he fails to change, Manuela told her that she would like to meet her husband and talk to him about dangers of Alcohol and the importance of educating children.
Finally, the turn was so poor and Manuela did not teach , but she hope for next time.
