Notes
Abraham met thirty five community members and found them to the meeting place where they built their chicken coop. They moved around checking hygiene and sanitation which is still maintained. The bore is doing well and the fence is still strong, using their stoves and proud of Kibo group activists. They checked the chicken coop and the chickens are looking good but they have to get more chicken feeds because they have now three hundred birds. The chairperson Mss Nabirye thanked the members for coming to the meeting and she said that some members went in Buyende district because one of the community member lost his child and they went to attend the burial. Abraham thanked the members for the hard work they are doing to keep the chickens and he advised them to start thinking about opening a group account because they need to prepare how they are going to keep the money from selling the eggs. The members thanked Kibo for encouraging them in the chicken project and one old man told the meeting that they need more man power because the chickens are becoming big and they take more water than they used to take when they were little. The group decided that they will call another meeting so that they will come up with how they will be looking after the chickens. They will also decide if they want the remaining chicks to be broilers or layers. Abraham left to Jinja while the members still discussing because the rain was coming and the road is too bad.
