Notes
Alex was in Kagulu to meet with the water user committee and monitor the drying of the new slab. He was also to guide the community as they chose the two caretakers for the new borehole. Together with the sub county hand pump mechanic, they went to check on how the new borehole was drying and it was found that it was progressing well so far. The vice chairperson water user committee, Kawuma Lawuya was told that no one should temper removing the banana leaves until two weeks have elapsed. Also they have to continue to pour water on the slab two times a day to enable the slab dry well and this gives it strength as it dries. The slab will be considered dry by the 12/05/2019. Unfortunately the rain did not allow us to have a meeting as it had been planned and so it was pushed to 6/05/2019.
