Notes
When Alex B arrived at Bukudumira,he found members waiting for him at their usual meeting place. It was the Day when the muslim began their holy month of fasting. The-community has high number of Muslims in the group. They went to the mosque and the few that were there meet with Alex B.The discussion was about how they will manage their group garden project. It was Koboolo Swain that was there as a Muslim and it was because,he was in charge of the garden.. The planting was done and the peas came out from the ground. There is need to spray them with rapid grow. That will help the peas to grow healthy and fast. It was also noted that the neighborhood garden of groundnuts were sprayed somethings that will cause pests to affect the peas garden if not attended to as it is required. They did the terrace to trap water from running through the garden. The garden is clean without weeds and the germinating percentage of the peas was 99 percent. They proud of their garden as it will earn income to group when they will be sold. The members told Alex as they are ready with the money for pesticides for spraying their peas garden. They also promise to work as a team when weeding time comes. They also have high hope from their garden project. Alex B told to always agree on the days that will working or weeding their garden. He also asked to began thinking of how they will benefit out that project as individuals and the group. He said, since it is a demonstration garden, members should learn out of it that they can go and practice it in their personal gardens.
