Notes
Abraham meet forty one Ikumbya community members and the chairperson Mss Nabirye thanked the members for working together caring for their chickens. She told the members that last time Abraham gave them some idea about opening of a group account because it is difficult to keep group money in a house. She said that those who were around that day saw as a good idea and that is they wanted to bring to the all group to finalize the idea and make plans of how they will go forwards. Abraham also thanked the meeting for the hard work they are doing looking after the chickens, keeping the bore hole clean and continuing to discuss their next project of keeping broilers. He advised them to start doing things they can at the moment not to think about things which very far away from them because it is good to grow from small to big than growing from big to small. He reminded them that that they had a suggestion of building a coop for keeping broilers and asked them if yes where will they build it and how are they prepared about it. The chairperson thanked Abraham for bringing that idea and she told the meeting that some members do not come to bring water for chickens because they think the chickens will benefit her alone and she said the all project belongs to the group not an individual. The members selected Mutebe’s place to be a good place where they will put the chicken coop. They decided that 22 May to come and contribute for building the next chicken coop. It started raining and Abraham left to Jinja.
