Notes
Abraham met twenty one Kivule community members and they discussed about what they want to do together as a group. Some member suggested that they can do chicken because it is easy to monitor it. The chairman said that for him he started making a chicken coop since he learned from Ida how you can start with one chicken and grow big, he showed the members his chicken coop he is making and he said he is waiting to finish and put chickens in. Some members said that is a great idea to do it individually but when you talk about a group it may be hard to make a big chicken coop. The chairman said if it is hard they can grow a garden of cabbage together as a group because they it once and sell so that it is not demanding a lot of time. Abraham told them that chickens are good but also having a garden of cabbage is good but what they need to do is to do what they can afford and also to start small and grow big. He told them about Ikumbya group which which decided to do chicken but it needs more commitment because with such chickens they take a lot of water, feeds and light. The group decided that because some members were not in the meeting they would like to mobilize them so that they can come up with one thing they can do together as a group.
