- Martin went to Buluvu to check on the general sanitation status of the village. He walked around that village with the Chairman LC1 and the VHTs. They were so encouraged to see that the community members are still continuing to construct the new sanitation facilities like latrines, dish racks, kitchens, rubbish pits and shower areas. So Martin and the group were encouraging the residents about standards, maintenance and smearing and the use of ash to eliminate flies in their latrines. The community is appreciating kibo for the programs going on in their village like sanitation and hygiene and stoves. And they are willing to work with kibo to the sanitation facilities and stoves. Because they have seen the value of working with kibo. In the 34homes they walked in at list every home is having a latrine, even if their not well maintained. And for other sanitation facilities the community members are willing to work and complete them to make their homes clean. Kibo staff is also willing visiting and encouraging them about their sanitation facilities. Martin and the group walked in 34homes.
