- Other Committee Notes
- The water and sanitation committee need to be reminded about their roles together with the village leaders because when Kibo WASH phases out of their village, they have to remain in control to help guide their fellow community members on sanitation standards and making sure they follow all the bylaws required to maintain their new borehole. Alex met with all the committee members and together reviewed all the bylaws and asked them if people were still obeying them as this is the only one way to safeguard their well. Also they discussed about the hygiene and sanitation standards of the village and on a good note, many of the village homes maintain their facilities but the committee and the village all agreed to update this status going home to home checking all the homes and their facilities. They hope to share this report with Kibo group when completed. They were reminded of their roles and responsibilities and always being active at all times. The borehole bylaws that were formed by the village need to be emphasized by the committee because this will help to safeguard their new borehole. The borehole fence need to be replaced as well and the committee promised to work on that in a week. Kibo will keep in touch with the committee to follow up on what they are to accomplish
- Ws Notes
- The borehole compound was found dirty and the borehole care taker looked for a broom to sweep it right away. She promised not to give up
