Lesson Taught
Bible Lesson 3: The love of God
Notes
Ida went to Budhumba and continued with a Bible lesson about God’s love. Ida asked questions from the previous lesson which was the lost son. As read from Luke 15, we are all like the lost son in many ways. We desire to be in charge of our lives. We ask for our shares, we tend to travel away from the presence of God. We always serve other gods from foreign land and always disobey the Lord. In the same way, we can get lost in house just like the second son got lost in the house. We have different minds from the father, vs 27 dad welcomes son but second lost son feels jealous. The second lost son displayed hate and jealousness. Otim stood up and confessed that he admits being exactly like those two lost boys. But has now discovered himself, and knows his position and the problem. He wants to make a final dicission to ask for forgiveness from those he offended. Joan too said that when her co-wife came home, she felt so bad to un extent of pouring urine on her. She feels like she needs to go and ask for forgiveness from her co-wife. There is a second chance for all of us, if we are the first lost son or the second lost God is waiting for us! Make a decision and wake up and go back home, humbly as a servant not as a son. When you humble yourself you will be glorified.
