Notes
Martin went to ltuba Namalowe to check on sanitation and hygiene improvement in the lower section from the trading centre up to were the chairman LC1 comes from. The main focus of going there was to check on the progress of the latrine constructions, rubbish pits and other facilities. He walked around that section with the chairman LC1 and two VHTs. Generally the community members have worked so hard on their home facilities in that section, because they saw 6 latrines already constructed, 10 rubbish pits done, 7 dish racks done and other facilities. The community members promised the group that, they are working so hard to improve on their sanitation and hygiene as well as to complete their home facilities. Since kibo started working in this village, the community members was complaining about the clean water. Good enough one Member of Parliament promised to repair two boreholes in that village, and one is already fixed. Martin and the group walked in 35 homes.
