- Notes
- Irene and Ida went to kitukiro to continue with the skin diseases and as the routine they started with a review of the previous lesson and asked the members to remind themselves of the different types of skin diseases.
Irene then continued by asking the members the different groups of people who are at risk of getting the different types of skin infections, Masitula said the people with poor hygiene, and other members continued accordingly. Irene added diabetic, immune suppressed, obesity, bed ridden among others as members continued mentioning the different groups of people at risk.
Irene then asked the members how best they can prevent the skin infections and the best option being frequent hand washing, avoid sharing baiting sponges, clothes, daily bath, and other options that also included seeking medical care to know the exact treatment for a given type of infection and boosting one’s immunity through a balanced diet. Irene then encouraged the members to get better medical treatment and advise others on how best to prevent the skin infections.
