Notes
David and Steven were in the village to meet with the sub county councilor Mugoya Stephen to discuss how they would bring everyone in the village on board as far as the sanitation maintenances and improvements are concerned. They reached the village and were joined by mr muwada who led them into the different homes which had the greatest need for improvements.Out of the different homes they visited before meeting the sub county councilor. The Kibo staff were so much impressed with miss Nawumbwe Jesca,s new dug latrine pit. They saw some construction materials like bricks that Nawumbwe jesca had collected for her new latrine construction. She was advised by the Kibo staff to take her time since she was going to buy even the aggregates for the sustainability of her latrine slub. For the rest of the other homes they visited had challenges of their latrines being down because of the recent rains. However the owners of the affected latrine were reminded to reconstruct new latrines. As away of reducing on the rate of the different diarrheal diseases in the affected homes .Later David and Steven crossed to the trading centre were the sub county councilor mr Mugoya Stephen was. In the discussion they had they concluded that the sub-county councilor will be holding general sanitation improvements meeting . So that the village as a whole will get on board. They said that the way forward for the meeting will be communicated to the Kibo . Because of the limited time factor the Kibo staff had to leave the village for Jinja.
