- Notes
- Harriet went to the village to guide the participants on how to scale out to the neighboring communities and follow up on smearing of the home facilities. When she arrived there, she found the members gathered at the meeting place waiting.
And after exchanging greetings, One of the village leaders opened the meeting with a prayer and later invited Harriet to begin the lessons.
Harriet first appreciated everyone for taking part in the program lessons and activities, saying they would always live a healthy life once they continue maintaining and using the program facilities more especially the fuel efficient stoves.
Harriet asked the members to take the building of the stoves serious and also consider it as one of their income generating activities. She requested them to always try and go to their neighboring villages and teach the members how to build the energy saving stoves which would also earn them some money that they would be using to maintain their families.
There after, they moved around the village visiting home to home while monitoring the facilities. Some members managed to smear all their homes which looked neat and free from jiggers and other insects while others promised to smear their houses Incase they found free time.
Harriet thanked the members for the great work and encouraged them to always maintain all their facilities for a better healthy living. She then left the village.
