- Notes
- Martin went to ltuba Namalowe to check on latrine construction and encouraging the community members about their home facilities in the section of the trading centre. He walked around the trading centre with Chairman LC1, VHTs and the parish chief. If one is to compare the days kibo started working in this trading centre and now, their is a big difference as the community members have worked so hard on their home facilities like latrine constructions, rubbish pits, dish racks, shower areas and other sanitation facilities. In that section, There was a difficult man called Hawali, but in two weeks he dug a pit latrine 20ft and it is already constructed. He has acted as an example to the whole community. 6 new done, 10 rubbish pits done, 14 dish racks done and other sanitation facilities. Another good news Martin met the VHTs and the parish chief busy walking around that centre because the water mission is planning to give them pipped water. They told Martin that all these programs are coming to their village because of kibo. They walked in 32 homes.
