Other Committee Notes
Kibo staff will be helping the community members re elect a new chairman for the borehole because miss Getulida apparently the chairman has not been effecting her roles and responsibilities instead her vice was the one more active working however the rest of the other committee members were working together .
Ws Notes
David went to Kagulu nabigalata section to continue teaching the members about taking full ownership and responsibility of their borehole, because the majority of the community members had gone for the burial in the next village David called for the few committee members who were present and he went ahead teaching them their roles and responsibilities. After having taught them ,one committee member asked David what they would do with their chairman of the borehole who was not working together with the other committee members.David replied and told them that let the vice chairman be serving during this festive season afterward Kibo staff would be helping with the electing of anew chairman for the borehole in a general meeting when everyone is present. They strongly supported that idea and the responsibility was being transferred to the vice chairman while waiting for the general elections of the borehole committee chairman.Because of the few members who attended the meeting David talked about the key points like the borehole full ownership belonging to them not Kibo. They therefore understood that it was themselves taking a lead as far as their borehole sustainability was concerned.secondly they also discussed about their borehole contributions,David also advised them always to continuing contributing towards their account avoiding unavoidable circumstances which could arise any time , he also advised them to loan out the 450000 shillings they had for their borehole account to the faithful residents and pay back with interst instead of the money just sitting there. They also discussed about them maintaining the required hygiene standards even though Kibo staff will be out of their village .
