Notes
Alex B met forty seven members of Maliga upper. The discussion was about how the home of those that are going to be given the goats. Mande suggested that one must be have good and clean compound with facilities that are on a better standard. The security should be one of issues to determine that the goats will be protected. George his contribution was that homes should not have be accessed by wild animals. They may cause harm to the animals any time the goats are left free. Alex B thanked the members for their contributions. He advised them to have good relationship with all the community members. He asked them to construct structures that are conducive for for goats to stay in during day and night. The security issue,he advised them to be conscious with it since most of them do not have perimeter walls with a gate on their compounds. Strong doors should be put on the house where the goats will be staying at night. The place where the animals are kept should not be close to the main or sleeping house. It should be a distance that one can easily hear what is happening to the animals. It was decided that in the next they will discuss how they will keep the goats good environment and health He visited one of the members Nangobi to seethe house where she will keep the goat during night. It was noted that there was no door and she was advised to put one for security purposes.
