- Martin and Enock went to kishaike, to check on the sanitation and hygiene improvement. They walked around the upper section of the village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. The Chairman LC1, the sanitation committee members and the community itself were so happy for the work of kibo going on in that village. Because previously the Government officials were just arresting the residents, without teaching them and telling them the value of the sanitation facilities. Now after kibo taught them the disadvantage and the advantages of the sanitation facilities, they have seen the value of the home facilities. That’s why they are busy working on their sanitation facilities like digging new pit latrines and constructing them, dish racks, rubbish pits, kitchens and shower areas. Martin,Enock and the group were encouraging the residents about the standards, maintenance, constructing the strong facilities, smearing and the use of ash to eliminate flies and smell in their homes. The community told the group that, their also willing to work hard on their sanitation facilities to change their village and make it better. According to how their busy working hard on their sanitation facilities, kibo is also willing to work with them.
