- Notes
- Jeska went to the village to guide the participants as they build the fuel efficient stoves on their own. She arrived there and got the members already stamping the dirt with other materials around the compound of a home where the stove was going to be built. Jeska joined the members in stamping the dirt until it got ready.
It was then carried into the kitchen and some members first cut the banana stems as Jeska guided them and later entered in the kitchen. The members first took measurements on the kitchen floor where the stove was going to be built and then began building the stove step by step.
Everyone was encouraged to participate because it would enable them to learn easily and master the skills. Jeska kept on correcting the mistakes they made as they built the stove and she also explained the importance of each step until the stove was fully built.
The members went to another home there after and built another stove under the guidance of Jeska.
She requested them to always keep trying on their own for it would make them perfect with time and also to maintain all their facilities such as building good dish racks, smearing all their buildings and stoves so as to live a better healthy life. Jeska thanked all the members for participating in the building process and left the village.
