Lesson Taught: Bible Lesson 7: The Tongue
Notes: Ida went to Budhumba and taught about “The Tongue “ The day started with games, jump rope and dodge ball. Women vs Men. Women won and men clapped for them and admitted it. She (Ida)told a story of a woman who lost her child who was two weeks due, because of someone who failed to control her Tongue. It’s good to sieve our words before we speak out anything. Ida gave the community three (3) sieves to use . 1 Is it true ? 2 Is it worth to say? 3 w Will it unite? Before speaking anything, first ask your self those questions above. If all three are yes, then get aloud speaker and proclaim! If one question doesn’t go through the sieve, then keep quiet to the end.One member stood and told the community that his wife left because of rumors that a neighbor brought, she left two children behind and never thinks of coming back. He thanked Kibo for the lesson and wished his wife got to hear this. Ida gave a memory verse from “James 3:2-12. Otim closed with a prayer.
