David and Martin were in the village to continue following up on new facility construction and standards. When they reached the village, they were joined by the sanitation committee members who led them into the different homes. They moved to the following homes which encouraged them mostly Kolostica Balana, for this it had the good shower area already in place and the dish rack construction was in progress,Kilizo Elisa he had all the necessary dish rack construction materials in place but the shower area construction was under construction,Nabikamba a lamanzani for this home it had all the facilities in place. However out of the 72 homes David and Martin visited they had started working on at least something. But the greater challenge was that the facilities were not meeting the set standards. Therefore the Kibo staff kept on encouraging them to improve home after home by starting to constructing and practicing the the rightful standards.Later afterwards the Kibo staff along with the committee members moved under a-tree for a-smaller meeting on how the village would improve. They discussed on how many days in a week the committee would move home to home. They all agreed on twice a week. They Also figured out on how they could empower the sanitation committee members. They decided to emerge the sanitation and borehole committee members together.Lastly they also discussed on how they would help the elderly. They said that the committee members will be the ones to help the elderly .In general according to the sanitation status of the entire village it was not the best .Except for the few homes which had better sanitation facilities.

2019-09-04 - Purpose: To continue encouraging about the right sanitation standards and improvements.

They are currently working and improving on their sanitation facilities and smearing on their houses and kitchens.
