Notes
David and Steven were in the village to update the remaining homes in the third survey as well as checking on the borehole status and water user committee status. When they reached the village they were welcomed by Wavembuga Moses the village chairman and lsufu Kisebe the chairman of the water user committee who later led the Kibo staff to where the borehole was .At the borehole the Kibo staff noted out the following, the borehole was kept clean by sweeping it. But unfortunately the sock pit wasn’t in good condition and the borehole did-not have a fence. Therefore mr Wavembuga Moses and lsufu kisebe told the Kibo staff that they had sat as a village and resolved that the best way to overcome the off and on replacing of the borehole fence was by the community making bricks for their fence wall construction . On that note the Kibo were so pleased and they encouraged the village to work hard and finish up with their brick work marking. The committee members said that by the end of September they will have finished with the making of their bricks. Later afterwards the Kibo staff along with the two committee members moved in about 30 homes. Out of the 30 homes they visited, only three homes had not completed improving on their latrines. The three homes were reminded of working hard in order to meet the required standards. On addition to the above the chairman of muvule community development program told the Kibo staff that they were progressing well because they were in the state of registering their group at the sub county and district levels.
