Notes
Tom was meant to start the final evaluation in the village but by the advice of the vhts, he did a follow up on facility construction as well as hygiene and sanitation improvements. The vhts suggested that they should first finish the final follow up in each and every home, encouraging and checking on the improvements before starting the final evaluation. So, on that day, they first moved from the trading centre towards the lower section. In the trading centre, they found two latrines still under construction but almost getting done. They continued to the owner section where they found two other latrines under construction. In all the homes they visited, they encouraged the residents to work hard and improve before the final evaluation as they have missed their set deadline. In two other homes, the home of the police officer and his brother and son, the pits are now done. The police officer has already brought the bricks, sand and cement for the construction of the latrine while his brother has started on the kitchen. Tom thanked them for the progress they have made but encouraged them to continue working and finish their facilities before the final evaluation
