- Village Notes
- Harriet made a surprise visit to this village with an intention of assessing the level of sustainability and the progress of the stove program.she found every one who had a stove using it on daily basis. This was supported by the absence of soot and the three stones in the kitchens. She also asked the participants on how far they have gone with scaling out the skill to the neighboring communities and they told her that they have so far built three stoves outside Nabikenge but the challenge is most people want free stoves yet the work is tiresome. Most people sold their crops during xmas season and they now don't have what to sell to raise money. She encouraged them to continue convincing more people so that the group can benefit financially as the the recipients get stoves.
