- Notes
- Enock and Martin traveled to this community to check on latrine construction, new dish racks, new shower areas, clean compounds, new hand washing stations and guide the residents how to construct good standard structures. This will improve on the sanitation and hygiene of this community. Enock took a different section from the chairman to the end of the village in the lower section as Martin walked to the upper section to continue teaching them about the core values of sanitation. In the section where Enock went, he saw 4 new latrines under construction where two children were helping there families to construct new latrines in their homes, he guided families to construct good dish racks and he taught them to encourage everyone to have it. He also reminded them how important is a good shower areas in a home as he ashamed some of the men who build short structures and told them the disadvantages of such structures. They understood the importance and vowed to improve on their old behaviors to adopt better ideas of promoting their privacy and treasuring it.
In the section where Martin walked, he saw a new kitchen area which was just been constructed. He emphasized the women to smear all the structures to add the beauty of their homes but also the strength to the walls of the facilities.
The community residents are so appreciative for the great work each home is doing since they are now realizing there has been a positive progress and improvement of sanitation and hygiene.
