Notes
Irene went to Budumba to continue with the nutrition lesson basically to differentiate between the different foods that make a balanced diet. Irene started with a review of the previous lesson to asses if the community understood the previous lesson there after divided the community members into groups to discuss the different foods grown in their homes or community with each group done Irene explained the different foods separating them into categories like the body building, energy giving and glow foods then demonstrated on how to make a healthy diet for a meal for example one could eat posho flour with peanut paste and green vegetables then take a fruit and glass of water. These are things or foods that are cheaply provided in the community. With different examples and demonstration Irene encouraged the members to ask questions which she answered. Irene suggested to come and demonstrate with food samples on the next visit.
