Abraham met twenty one Ikumbya community members and the purpose of the meeting was to discuss how they are going to open a group account. The chairperson Mss Nabirye told the meeting that they met and discussed about having more chickens because they gave each member two chickens to be also working in their homes and now they have room for more chickens. They decided that they are going to buy one hundred chicks to replace some of those which were given out to the members. Abraham thanked the members for coming up with such a good idea and advised them to continue working together because the chairperson complained that since some of the members took some of the chickens in their homes they do not mind much about the ones remaining behind. They have to work together in order to achieve the next chicken coop they hope to start. The chairperson said that there are many people from the government asking how they are doing in their group so that they can also help them and already one of them gave the group fifty thousand shillings to improve on their chicken project. They will be meeting and discuss what they will get after going to Kamuli town and check if there is any bank which can be suitable for them to open a group Account.
