Notes
Introduction Manuela went to Bokoma to teach about how HIV can be prevented from being passed from one person to another. In most cases people still think that there is HIV cure yet it is not there, the reason why Manuela teach community this lesson is because she want people to stop thinking about the past myths. Overview When Manuela reached the village, she found when community members where receiving orange and mango fruits plants , and after each individual receiving, they would go home direct so it was hard to get people’s attention. The only thing Manuela did was to move around home to home mobilizing community members that in the next visit they will be learning about how HIV is transmitted from one place to another. Manuela moved in 25 homes after that she went to the chairman home and they discussed about poor turn up of people. As Manuela was talking to the chairman , this man told Manuela that most people in Bukoma more especially the men spent most of their time at the trading center doing nothing just gambling, Manuela asked him that what are you going doing about this as a leader. This chairman seems to be tired of his people around but Manuela told him not to get tired but he should continue working with them because they will change with time. Finally, Manuela told the chairman not to give up and he also told him to remind community members about the next visit.
