Notes
Martin went to Kishaike, to check on the sanitation and hygiene improvement in that village. He walked around that with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Good enough, in that village, their few homes who are still working on their sanitation facilities like latrine constructions, others are still digging them, dish racks constructions and other facilities. And for those who have worked on their sanitation facilities like latrines, kitchens and shower areas, Martin and the village leaders was encouraging them about the standards, maintenance, smearing and the use of ash to eliminate flies and smell in their latrines and homes. Because if kibo can not encourage the community members how to ash in their latrines, diseases like malaria, Typhoid and others can be formed in that village. To compare to the other villages kibo have worked with Kishaike is a hard working village. Because at list every community member is struggling to have a latrine and other sanitation facilities. After that Martin had a brief meeting with the village leaders to discuss about the resent evaluation. The village leaders decided to work hard to encourage the communities who are still working on their sanitation facilities, like those who are still digging the new pit latrines, to construct them and the dish racks. And they are requesting that if there’s any other program, they are willing to work with kibo. Because of their hard working kibo is also willing to work with that community. Martin and the village leaders walked in 40homes
