To educate the pupils about the importance of relationships skills and how to manage emotions.
Notes
Introduction Manuela went to bukudomira Primary School to introduce Relationship Skills and also teach about emotions and how to manage different emotions. Relationship Skills teachers pupils on how pupils can adopt good relationships among them that can lead to love. Overview When Manuela reached school, she found pupils in class waiting for her, she entered and greeted them and asked them about how holiday was and also told them that today they are going to learn about Relationship Skills and also she discuss with them about how to manage emotions. Manuela reviewed the previous lessons with the pupils, pupils were able to share their ideas about the lessons that they learnt. After that, Manuela introduced the lesson, Manuela started by introducing Relationship Skills, she asked them a question that what is Relationship Skills? In local language they said that it means being in good terms with one another. After that Manuela explained to the pupils that Relationship means the state through which two people or groups of people are contacted to one another and they can believe in each other. Manuela went on and told the pupils that without relationships there is no love. Manuela went on and asked the pupils that what are the importance of having good relationships, pupils responded that good relationships leads to team work, love, peace and unity and understanding. Manuela also added that without Relationship, there is no love and connection. After Manuela taught the pupils about how to manage emotions, and Manuela asked the kids that they do they manage their emotions, one of the kids said that it depends on the type of the emotions you are in, for example he said anger, that she can manage that through crying, others said through keeping quiet, moving away from the sin area and coming back later after pupils suggestions that, Manuela told the pupils that the other ways of managing emotions are , count up to 10, consult people around, walk away and come back later, thinks about the situation, pray and consider the consequences. Finally, Manuela told the pupils to also tell the parents about what they have learnt today, then she told them that next time they will learn about what is love.
