- Notes
- Abraham met twenty six Sinde community members and the purpose of the meeting was to discuss about how they can open a group Account.
They wanted to open a group Account but they thought of the distance is long because they have to move to Bugiri where there are banks which can keep their money.
They have been struggling to keep the money that they collect for the bore hole repair in case it breaks down.
They have been calling Abraham to meet them so that they can continue with the conversation of opening a group account.
Abraham told them that opening of a group account is optional, if they don’t want to open is okey but they need to have a real need and they can think of opening one.
The chairman told the meeting that he had told them in the previous meeting not to rush and open a group account because they have little money which they can keep in their houses, he talked of them having a metallic box so that they can put three padlock s in order to keep their money.
Abraham advised the members to start with what they can, they can start with that idea of having a box then when they will have more money then they will think about opening of a group Account but he told them to continue researching of the bank they can open the account in the future.
Abraham went to one of the member home called Birenge and he told him that he got a cow from the goat he received from Kibo.
This group is still maintaining hygiene and sanitation.
