- Notes
- Martin and Enock went to Mpumiro village, they walked around with the Chairman LC1, LC2 and the VHTs in the section from the primary school towards Buyoboya village. To check on the progress of sanitation and hygiene. They had worked on their sanitation facilities like latrine constructions and shower facilities. But unfortunately last week they had a heavy rain, and they destroyed some facilities that was not constructed in a good standards. So the group was encouraging those who are still digging their new pit latrines, to construct them in a strong way and better standard.
For those who constructed their new latrines and shower areas with bricks and cement, those facilities are still working. The village leaders decided to work hard to encourage the community members about their sanitation facilities. They told Martin and Enock that the work of sanitation and hygiene which is going on in their village, it’s surpassed to be for themselves. So they are so happy, and they are appreciating kibo so much. And kibo is willing to work with them, until they will complete their sanitation facilities like latrine constructions, dish racks, rubbish pits, kitchens and shower facilities. And the community members are willing to work on.
The group walked in 48homes.
