- Alex B met thirty seven members about what is needed to open a group bank account.
The chairperson of the group Saul said as they want to visit the post bank in Busembatia.This was after failing with one of centenary bank. They wanted to discuss how to visit the bank.
Peter the treasury for the group told them as the money they had for opening bank account was spent. It was used for transporting them when they wanted to open one with centenary bank. They were not considered and no proper explanation was given to them by the bank.
Alex B advised them to prepare fast, the documents that will demanded by the bank. He told them to look at what they were asked by centenary bank and also what they think failed them.He told them to have a group constitution that is signed by all the members.The valid registration certificate from the CDO of their sub county.The chairperson has to write application letter to the bank.The recommendation letter from Lc one,to recommend them being from that village. The leaders of the group to work as team to support the those that will the signatories.He asked all the members to pass the resolution that permits the three to be responsible for the or signatories of their group bank account.
The members agreed to that the chairperson,secretary and the treasury to go and find out from the bank.
