Notes
Alex met with the water user committee and discussed about the survey results that were got in the village and general feeling of the village people if indeed they are ok with it. The hydrogeologist spent 5 good days in the village looking for the suitable sites for water in the community. The village is very tricky and challenging to get a suitable site for water because of the bad history that was told. The government tried to punch a well in the village a year ago but failed after getting a dry hole. The village has been very worried if really they would succeed to get water in their community. It was a lot of time spent on looking for a suitable site good for water drilling and everyone in the village was very worried if Kibo also would get. Finally two sites were got and everyone is very happy and continue to pray that water is got when drilling takes place. The general feeling in the village is very good and the water committee reported that the people are still working together. Alex then visited the two sites and told the land owners to get prepared to sign the agreement. One of the land owner was absent and the LC2 promised to see him and talk to him. The land agreement was postponed until next time and were told to consult all their family members about it. This is a very important step before the borehole drilling takes place. This is expected in a bout two weeks from now
