Learning Objectives
To educate the pupils about what is love and the importance of love.
Notes
Manuela went to bukudomira Primary School to teach the pupils about love. Teaching pupils about love dose not mean about boyfriend and girls friends. We teach them about true love that results out of good relationships, for example love between mother and father, love between sisters and brothers, love between teachers and pupils and finely love between children and parents. When Manuela reached the school, she found pupils still outside enjoying their break fast periods, Manuela went to the headmistress office to sign, after some times they rang the bell and pupils went to their life skills class. After that Manuela went to Life Skills class and taught the pupils, Manuela started by greeting the pupils after that she went direct to the lessons of the day, she asked the pupils about the previous lessons kids tried to share their ideas, then she introduced the lessons, she asked the pupils that what is love? When Manuela asked the pupils that question they started to laugh it’s like the ward love sounds funny to them, no kid answered this question instead they were laughing , she also asked them that do they have love for one another? She asked them that they you love among your parents? Then one kids said loudly that no! Then Manuela asked why the kid replied because she sees her parents fight a lot , kids started to make noise that even me I see the quarrels a lot , the noise became too much then Manuela had to control the class make them keep quiet and explained to them what love is, she went on and said that love is a natural feeling that people have towards one another it involves good connections and believing in one another. Manuela went on and explained to the pupils that, it’s very good to love one another for example love between parents and children, love between love pupils and children , love between pupils and pupils, love between pupils and teachers and finally love between a mother and father to promote conducive environments for the children and other families members. Manuela told them that even it’s written in the Bible and Jesus encouraging us to love one another. Finally, Manuela encouraged the pupils to practice good relationships that can lead to love and they should also advice their parents to love them selves( mother and father)
