caring for trees
Notes
Alex B met thirty members of Nabituluntu about how to care for the trees. These are mvule and Musizi trees. Alex B and Sum the chairperson before the meeting managed to check with members to see how the trees are doing. They checked with Alex one one of them and his trees were healthy though the hedges were bad. The reason to why the trees are good, because of enough rain for the trees. The challenge was that as it rains the weed tends to grow fast almost to out grow the trees. Some members did not observe the distance from each tree to another as they were planting. They were advised to re-plant them since rain season was still good.We went to check up with Kibaireki who planted thirty seven mvule, but was not at his home. There was no body to show where the trees were planted. Alex B was so much concerned to look at those trees. He wanted to know the state and condition of those trees.Ronald planted twelve mvule and six musizi but he was advised to care for them by putting cadges around them. It was past two o’clock and went for the a short meeting to discuss how care for the trees. This was after checking with some members to see how the tees were doing. They were advised to put strong hedges to protect the trees from being eaten by animals. Those that were planted along the path to put high cages to children from destroying them
