Notes
Chris visited Bukhana Primary School and the purpose was to take life skills exams as well as success cards to the pupils, this was intended to encourage the P7 candidates and prepare them for the forthcoming primary leaving exams and also measure how they understood gender roles however on my way there was a challenge were we found a big tree that rains brought down and it was blocking the road so we had to create a new way and in the process the car got stuck, it took 6 men to push it through and we were able to make it thank God. On reaching the school, Chris talked to Mrs Peninah who happens to be the life skills teacher however she said the P.7 pupils were having prayers and after prayers they would go for lunch and after they would have lunch and because of that tight schedule, many of the pupils from other classes did not come to school and that accounted for the low turn up at school and so for that reason she requested we postpone the exams and reschedule them on Wednesday of next week. When Chris asked about the exhibition results Mr peninah said they were unable to carry out their exhibition because the school had a tight schedule which involved preparing candidates for their end of year party so the school management decided to reschedule the exhibition on 13th this month. As Chris was leaving he handed to the success cards to the deputy Headmaster and said they were from Kibo wishing them success in their exams, the deputy Headmaster thanked Kibo for encouraging the pupils. Chris requested both the Life Skills teacher and the deputy Headmaster to mobilize and prepare the pupils for the next exam on Wednesday next week.
