Alex B met twenty three community me about how to care for the trees that was given to them by kibo group. Sum the chairperson said that the season of much rain had started affecting the trees. There’re was flood and most of the trees were covered by water. He reported mostly those that were planted near swampy places. Due to much rain the leaves of some the trees were turning to yellow. Kibaireki who planted thirty seven Mvule trees said that all of them were planted along the border of his land. He reported some are not doing good due to much rain ,especially near the swamp.Mande planted twelve Mvule and six musizi reported his as most of them are doing good. The community members were concerned about their trees and sought foe advise how to protect their trees from the floods. Alex B advised the community to make trenches for water not lodge around or near the trees.He told them make hedges around them which will not allow the water to lodge .The community to visit one another for those that have managed to care for their trees good. He gave them a word of thought that the season of rain will reduce by time. The community is located along the swamp area and that were they planted the trees . The issue of the leaves turning to yellow,he told them to hold until the rain will reduce and color will go back to green. He added on that if the leaves do not change then that means will be affected by pests and they will need to be sprayed.
