Lesson Taught: Bible Lesson 3: The love of God
Notes: Ida went to Nawandyo and taught about The love of God. She asked the community if there was any one who could give him/her self to be killed instead of their child. Daudi the chairperson asked that “on which deal?” He continued saying that he will never even pay for what the child has failed to pay what about things concerning life? The child will sort out his problems. God was generous enough that He gave His only child! Remember most of you have more three but still can’t give one, He decided to give the son that our sins be forgiven. The Ida narrated the story of the lost son and meditated on both sons. Some are like the lost son who came back to his senses and went back home to seek for forgiveness. The father is eagerly waiting for us to come home and repent of our sins however much they stink. Some are like the son who stayed with the father at home. He lost the point and became jealousy. He had a negative feeling towards his brother just like most of us feel towards our own people. Whenever we fall off the track, may we remember to go back home and our father in heaven is waiting for us, it’s not too late now is the time. The meeting was concluded with a song from John 3:16.
