- Notes
- Alex B met forty two members of Maliga upper about what is next after receiving the goats from kibo group.
The chairperson of the group Fidah said that some members reported to her as much rain has contributed a lot of work as they care for the goats. The region was experiencing more than enough rain and yet goats do not want to be exposed to direct rain and muddy places.
Mande on of the members said that they had resorted mostly to zero grazing. He said though sometimes to get feed like grass is had for them.
Alex B thanked them for caring for their trees and the goats. He asked the to continue working together and remain united. He asked them to work together as they promote their group. He told them since they planted the trees and received,it better to think of what they should do as a group. The project that can keep them united and developing as individuals and the group. It may be a business but within their limit of the finances. The community always earn their living from farming mostly. This should be done before they take back the offspring of the goats in form of money. What they will do as a group will help them to continue attending their regular meetings.
The members bought the idea since it will develop them as individuals and their group. George one of the members suggested to the members to begin thinking of the project they will do.
