Notes
Harriet found the participants waiting at the home where the first demonstration was built. She asked the participants to pay attention as well as ask where they may not understand because she aimed at teaching them how to remove banana stems from the built stoves so that they can be able to do it on their own. She practically removed banana stems from the stove as the participants were watching. The challenge was the kitchen was small and all the participants could not fit. Harriet divided them into two where by one group was to learn that very day while another group was to be taught on Wednesday. This is because she wanted every one to pay attention to the whole process. She practically removed the banana stems as the participants watched. She did this while explaining the whole process to ensure that the group understands. The community was very excited when they saw a complete stove and sang songs of unity " that is encouraging each other to work together as a team in order to achieve success in what ever they do.
