- Notes
- David and Steven were in Nabowa .As they were in the village they moved while encouraging in about 24 homes in the lower section. However David and Steven were so much encouraged with some homes which were greatly improving . Because previously most of the showers areas in the different homes in lower section were down because of the continuous rains. However when they visited most of the homes were improving. For example they were so much encouraged with mr jabbu and Makonzi the most complicated members in the community. Mr jabbu and Makonzi they had already collected the construction materials for their new shower areas . They therefore promised the kibo staff that during the next visit they will have completed the construction of their new shower areas. After all that the Kibo staff later moved to the borehole at the school in the same village. They moved at the borehole because the headmaster of the school in that village some two weeks had requested the Kibo staff to check on what was the issue which had caused the school borehole not to function effectively. They noted that all the pipes were old and even had hole in them. They told the headmaster that they will be discussing their problem through the Kibo meeting. Later that they will be telling the school the way forward if possible about the partnership .In general according to the sanitation status of the facilities in the lower section which was greatly affected by the rains was improving .
