- Alex B met forty members of the group about what they will do after receiving goats from Kibo group.
Fidah the chairperson fast reported that the goats are doing good with few challenges.She said that since the season was of much rain,that makes some of them the grazing challenging.The trees that are living are doing good.
She also said as the members are busy harvesting crops like maize,groundnuts and beans. There some members of the community during the day stay in the swamps keep rice from being eaten by the birds.
Alex B thanked the community for caring for their trees and the goats. He advised them on the issue of the goats not leave them out when it is raining. He told them to store enough feeds for their animals during rain season. This is because the goats are affected by worms when it has rained.
Alex B asked them what was their next project in mind after receiving the goats from the kibo group. The community mostly earn their living from farming.It is true they rare animals like goats,cows and pigs to mention a few. They also grow crops like maize,beans,rice,groundnuts cassava. The community is willing to work together to develop themselves in the group. The project that can be done for all the and remain united in their group. He advised them to select a project that will not cost them much in terms of time,labour and money.
