- Abraham met twenty seven Ikumbya community members and the purpose was to discuss how they will open a group Account.
They struggled on the way because the road is so bad, the potholes are so deep because of the trucks carrying sugar canes and even some were stuck in the middle of the road.
They discussed how they will open a group Account and they agreed to open one in the centenary bank in Kamuli town.
Abraham advised them to first go and check what is needed to open a group account from the bank in Kamuli so that they will come back and discuss with the members because by the time they go back they will be having everything they need in the bank.
They said the chairperson, the treasurer and secretary will go to check with centenary bank.
Their chickens have started laying eggs and they have for trays of eggs and also they are keeping money they are collecting to repair their bore hole in case it breaks down in the house which is not safe. They hope when they will have their account their money will be safe.
