- Harriet found the participants waiting at the meeting place. Harriet had planned to visit different homes of the participants and follow up on smearing of the home facilities, building of firewood storage as well as stove building.
She tried to call the community leaders before she left for the village to remain them about the program of the day but all their phones couldn’t go through. She reached in the village and found the participants when they have decided to meet and share their annual saving that they have been saving for entire year.
They were preparing for Christmas and each member had decided to get back her saving in terms of cooking oil, rice, sugar, soap and meat that they will use during Christmas season.
This affected Harriet’s plan because the participants were eager to see whether what they are getting is worthy their savings. They also requested her to watch and witness their achievements. Harriet encouraged them to maintain their team work and saving. Culture in order to achieve development.She also told the group that kibo is also breaking for Christmas from 17th December 2019 to 7th January 2020.
