- Notes
- Abraham met thirty four Kiteigalwa community members and the purpose was to discuss how they are going to start a nursery school as a group.
The chairman LC1 Mr Iduma Iremye told the meeting that they had started a nursery school before Kibo group came to their village but it did not succeed because some people had interest in it.
They have been thinking because of many children’s just play at home and they thought it is a good idea if they can have a nursery school where their children’s can learn something and they shared it with some community members who also supported the idea.
Abraham thanked the members for being creative and told them to think about working on one thing at a time because now they are trying to start constructing their clinic and now they want a nursery school and all things are important but he argued them to start working on one and they have to put much effort to see that they can succeed.
They concluded by saying that they are really badly with getting treatment and most of them voted for the clinic first them nursery school.
But Abraham encouraged them to continue discussing because it is healthy to discuss, it gives any way forward or something they need to change.
They are going to have another meeting whereby they will come up with the clinic first or nursery school.
This is a strong group because they formed a rice growing group and now they sell their rice as a group.
